| STP training update. |

- 1 yard of 3way soil
- 1 yard of 1/4"-3/4" crushed rock
- 1 yard of pea gravel
- 55 pieces of 16"x16" cement pavers
- 10 2x4's
- 1 wheel barrow w/ a slow leak in the tire
- a collection of hand tools
- 1 lawn mower that doesn't start
- 1 weed eater that i got started(!)
- my '89toyota clicking the 226K mile mark
- and the '07passat clicking the 26K mark
- 2 80+ degree days
- recovering from allergies+24hour stomach bug
- oh yah, and a 50 mile ride last week saturday.
...i think i'm ready for the 206 miles STP has to offer! |

first road ride today.
and less than 4 weeks
until seattle to porkland.
coupla trainer rides, thanks
to the fancy trainer j got me
for the holidays... but jeez.
24 miles got me good.
i'll get a spin on the trainer
thursday maybe, then a
nice long ride this weekend.
last year mighta been a fluke.
this year we gotta prove it. |

i just shot an interesting show.
wouldn't know where to classify the music.
and mostdef don't know where to classify the fans.
it was very. very. interesting. the people in the crowd.
it was like. sooper asexual. like a bunch of 'pats' from SNL.
a bunch of them. more than half the crowd was like that.
kinda. homely. dorky. if i saw 1 of them alone i'd maybe
refer to them as a loner. anti-social type. or something.
but they weren't alone. they gathered. with others like them.
it was strange. how the last band attracted so many of the
same anti-social (lack of social skills) appearing fans.
that was merely my perception. it was the most out-of-place
i have ever felt covering all these shows over the past year+
strange. the bands didn't offer a whole lot of interestingness either.
oh well. photos should be in the june edition of performer magazine.

that i obtained at christmas time.
that still has not been used...
for good reason actually.
anyway. either the trainer or

whistler bomber.
peak to creek.
just over 4 miles.
in just under 10 minutes.
a thigh burner for real...
as the snow season comes to a close,
i'm glad to have put 2 days up at
whistler and blackcomb. real nice.
trying to sneak up for TELUS in april.
we'll see. DE LA is in concert on saturday.
you can't beat an outdoor show after a full
day on the hill... keeping the fingers crossed. |

even with the sun peeking out today,
i am so looking forward to whistler.
w/ only a few select days on snow (again)
this season, 2 days in BC gonna be good.
but i was able to hit mission and baker
this season, along w/ stevens, so at least
they've all been 'quality' days...
and then i recently reconnected w/ an old
riding friend. that other riding. and i'm
looking forward to a ride or two this summer.
hopefully a run up rainier or 3 pass blast:
stevens+ blewett+ snoqualmie... vrooooooom.
shot a concert last night for performer.
if you get a chance to grab the latest issue,
they ran 4 of my images this month in print.
